FORT MILL, SC — Fort Mill School District will welcome community partners and industry leaders on Wednesday, September 17, for STEAM Day at Catawba Ridge High School. The event is designed to highlight the connections between Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math and the real-world careers available to students.
STEAM Day will feature more than 18 interactive stations, including demonstrations from Anne Springs Close Greenway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Piedmont Medical Center, and the Celebrate Freedom Foundation, which will land a Cobra Helicopter on site. Students will rotate through stations in both the morning and afternoon, gaining hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn directly from professionals in the field.
The Cobra Helicopter will land at 9 AM, with student rotations beginning immediately after.
