Steven Peeler, a familiar face on the sidelines of Clover High School, has been appointed as the new Athletic Director for Lake Wylie High School. Peeler brings a wealth of experience in education and athletics to his new role.
Currently serving as an Assistant Principal at Clover High School, Peeler has also been a key part of the Blue Eagles’ football program, holding the position of Varsity Defensive Coordinator since 2015.
Prior to his tenure with the Clover School District, Peeler accumulated diverse coaching experience across various high schools. His past roles include Varsity Defensive Assistant at Indian Land High School, Varsity Defensive Coordinator for West Lincoln High School, Varsity Assistant for North Gaston High School, and an Assistant Coach at Butler High School.
Academically, Peeler holds a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education of History from Appalachian State University and furthered his education with a master’s degree in Education Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Peeler is expected to complete his commitment with the Clover High School football team during the upcoming season before officially transitioning into his new leadership role as an Athletic Director for the Chargers at Lake Wylie High School.
