ROCK HILL, S.C. — The Rock Hill Police Department has arrested two suspects in connection to a shooting that occurred Monday, June 2, on Heather Square near Celanese Road.
Antonio Maurice Roberts Jr., 20, and Saiye Kashiir Golden, 18, both of Rock Hill, were taken into custody on Thursday. They have each been charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Crime of Violence. The two were booked into the Rock Hill Jail and are scheduled to appear for bond hearings today.
Officers responded to the 1800 block of Heather Square just before 11 a.m. on Monday after receiving reports of a shooting. At the scene, police located a 33-year-old man who had been shot in the legs. He was transported to Piedmont Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The investigation into the shooting remains active. Authorities are asking anyone with additional information to contact the Rock Hill Police Department.
