Lancaster County Library to Launch New Bookmobile with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

LANCASTER, S.C. – The Lancaster County Library is hitting the road with a brand-new bookmobile, expanding access to books and resources for residents across the county. A ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially launch the service will take place on Monday, March 10th, at 2:00 PM at the Lancaster County Library, located at 313 S. White Street.

This exciting initiative is designed to make library services more accessible, bringing books, technology, and community programs directly to neighborhoods, schools, and rural areas. The bookmobile will provide access to a wide range of materials, including bestsellers, children’s books, and digital resources.

Lancaster County Library officials, local leaders, and community members will gather to celebrate this milestone, with remarks about the importance of mobile library services in fostering literacy and lifelong learning.

The bookmobile project is made possible through the support of Lancaster County, Comporium, and the Lancaster County Library.

Residents are encouraged to attend the event and learn more about how the bookmobile will serve the community. For more details, visit lanclib.org.
