COLUMBIA, S.C. – Spirit Airlines is expanding its presence in South Carolina with the introduction of new nonstop service at Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) starting June 5, 2025. The airline will offer direct flights to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), and Orlando International Airport (MCO), providing travelers with convenient access to major leisure and business destinations.

Spirit Airlines Expands South Carolina Service
Spirit Airlines has had a longstanding presence in South Carolina, first launching service in Myrtle Beach more than 25 years ago. In 2023, the airline expanded to Charleston, and now, Columbia joins its growing route network in the state.
Introductory Fare Offer
To celebrate its Columbia launch, Spirit Airlines is offering an introductory fare starting at $50 one-way for travel between June 5 and August 12, 2025. Tickets must be purchased by March 20, 2025, and booked at least 14 days in advance to qualify.
With the addition of these new routes, travelers from Columbia will now have greater access to popular destinations, including beaches, theme parks, and major metropolitan areas, all with Spirit Airlines’ commitment to affordable travel.
