Birmingham, Ala. — Senior Andrew Gregory posted his best finish of the season so far at T8 to lead Winthrop men’s as it completed play at the GMAC Invitational, Tuesday afternoon.

• Senior Andrew Gregory went three under in the final 36 holes to finish at 3-under for the event
• Gregory had the best finish by an Eagle at T8
• This is Gregory’s fifth Top 10 finish of his collegiate career
• Junior Cole Rouse had the next best finish at T30 as he finished the tournament at 5-over
• Sophomore Mason Kucia was T39 as he was two shots back of Rouse at 7-over
• The Eagles were sixth in Par 3 scoring and tied for third in Par 5 scoring relative to the field
• Kucia led Winthrop in Par 3 scoring at 1-under, tied for third-lowest among the field
• Gregory led in Par 4 scoring (+1) and with Lamar tied for the team-low in Par 5 scoring at 4-under
