- Eagles were the first to fire a shot as Sam Crolla put one on target but right at keeper Caiden Lee for the save in 5th minute
- Alfie Humphrey forced a save in the 15th minute as his shot on frame was tipped over for a Winthrop corner
- Winthrop earned back-to-back corners but to no avail
- In the 43rd minute the Eagles had a flurry of chances as Juma Baden’s header was off the crossbar as the ball came out to Shion Hayashi in front of goal but his shot was blocked then Daniel Restrepo’s shot was saved by Caiden
- As the teams settled into halftime, there was a lightning delay was the game didn’t resume until around 8:10-8:15 p.m.
- In the second half the game was a little more physical as each team finished with 10 fouls and combined for 33 in the match
- Pablo Ortega had the first shot on frame in the second half as he fired away in the 68th minute but Caiden made the save
- Jorge Perez did the same in the 76th minute as Caiden was there for the save
- Kevin Christensen made both of his saves in the second half with less than five minutes to play as he held the Camels off the scoreboard

- This is the first draw of the season and the first 0-0 draw for the Eagles since Oct. 8, 2015 at ETSU
- Winthrop finished with an 11-6 advantage in total shots and 5-3 in shots on goal
- Christensen made three total saves to earn his first collegiate shutout
- It’s the third shutout of the season for the Eagles
- This is the first time since Oct. 13, 2018 the Eagles shutout Campbell
- Also, in 33 all-time meetings this is the first ever tie between the two teams
