Conrad & Shealy Lead Eagles in Elon Opener

ELON, N.C. — The Winthrop University track and field teams placed in eighth in the women’s 4k with 231 points and ninth in the men’s 6k team standings with 246 points, led by Anna Conrad’s 13th-place finish and Spencer Shealy’s 25th-place finish.


START LINE

  • Anna Conrad led the Eagles in the 4k, placing 13th in 14:43.2.
  • Janie Spicer finished right behind her in 17th at 14:53.9.
  • Allison Reese placed 69th in 16:03.8, while Lexi Marion followed in 84th with a time of 16:21.8.
  • Kelsey Martin placed 101st in 16:44.9.
  • Caidence Bazemore rounded out the lineup in 104th place with a time of 16:47.6.
  • Shealy led the Eagles in the 6k, placing 25th in 19:58.4 with a 5:21.4 average mile.
  • Ethan Gear finished 60th in 21:01.6, while Miles Carrier placed 63rd in 21:08.1. Aiden Carrier followed in 64th with a time of 21:08.6.
  • Hank White placed 79th in 21:31.9.
  • Joshua Gordillo finished 83rd in 21:36.4, and William Cohoon came in 84th at 21:36.9.
  • Jordan Kent rounded out the lineup in 102nd place with a time of 22:19.7.
