ROCK HILL, S.C. — The Winthrop University track and field teams competed on Friday night at the Winthrop Invitational, with the men’s squad placing second with 60 points in the men’s 8k team standings, led by Jordan Kent’s 13th-place finish in 28:18.0.
START LINE
- Lexi Marion led the Eagles women, placing ninth in 20:23.8.
- Kelsey Martin followed in 10th at 20:24.0.
- Allison Reese secured 11th with a time of 20:31.5.
- Caidence Bazemore rounded out the top 12 with a 20:40.4 finish.
- Kent paced the Eagles men, finishing 13th in 28:18.0 with 10 points.
- Miles Carrier added a 14th-place finish in 28:21.9, scoring 11 points.
- Aiden Carrier took 15th with a time of 28:24.3, earning 12 points.
- William Cohoon finished in 16th at 28:26.7, contributing 13 points.
- Hank White completed the Eagles’ scoring five with an 18th-place finish in 28:46.2 and 14 points.
