Northwestern High School track and field athletes were named to the 2026 South Carolina All State teams, an honor MileSplit South Carolina announced in July based on the results of the spring outdoor season.
The selections cover the boys and girls programs across the full event schedule, from the 100 meter dash to the pole vault. MileSplit organized the honors into four merit tiers, First Team, Second Team, Third Team and Honorable Mention, along with separate teams recognizing the top performers in each grade, from All Freshman to All Senior.
In all, 29 individual Northwestern athletes were honored, counting each athlete once even when they made multiple teams or events. That total does not include the boys and girls 4×100, 4×400 and 4×800 relay squads, which were also recognized as teams.

Northwestern’s freshman class stood out on the girls side, with six first year athletes, Julia Cherry, Kai McClain, Khloe Duncan, Kylie Gilmore and Ja’Mia Young among them, all reaching the All Freshman Team.
