South Carolina to Hold 2027 Governor’s Conference on Tourism & Travel in Rock Hill

The state’s tourism agency will host its annual conference for the industry Feb. 8-9, 2027, at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center.

ROCK HILL, S.C. — The South Carolina Governor’s Conference on Tourism & Travel will take place Feb. 8-9, 2027, at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center, according to the S.C. Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism.

The agency described the event as the largest annual gathering of the state’s tourism industry.

The conference will include sessions on emerging consumer trends and tourism marketing strategy intended to help the department and the industry grow tourism, according to the department. Sessions are often led by economists, marketers, social media practitioners and public relations professionals, the department said.

At least one session will provide an update on the state of tourism in South Carolina, according to the department.
