On July 6, the University of Mississippi issued a release congratulating graduates from the York County area.
Graduates, both undergraduate and graduate, were among the roughly 3,800 students who received their diplomas in May, according to a press release.
Chester:
Kathryn Carr – Specialist in Education from the Graduate School
Clover:
Jayden McHone – Bachelor of Arts in Education from the School of Education
Fort Mill:
Carter Hendrick – Bachelor of Arts from the College of Liberal Arts
Rock Hill:
Kathleen Peddy – Bachelor of Science from the School of Applied Sciences
“Our May 2026 graduates are distinguished by their commitment to academic excellence and are prepared to build legacies that began here at Ole Miss,” said University of Mississippi Chancellor Glenn Boyce.
