FMHS Booster Classic Golf Tournament Returns to Tega Cay Golf Club

The Fort Mill High School Athletic Booster Club will hold its sixth annual Booster Classic golf tournament on Thursday, Sept. 3, at Tega Cay Golf Club, one of the club’s largest fundraising events of the year.

The tournament supports athletic programs that serve more than 950 student athletes across 39 teams at Fort Mill High School. Proceeds help the booster club provide team stipends, gear, special requests, and facility upgrades that reach every program at the school.

Registration opens at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The event will use a captain’s choice format at Tega Cay Golf Club, located at 15083 Molokai Drive in Tega Cay.

Since 1994, the booster club has worked to close funding gaps for Fort Mill High athletics. Organizers say the money raised through the tournament allows the club to keep investing in resources across the school’s athletic programs.

Several sponsorship and registration options are available. A gold sponsorship is $1,500 and includes two foursomes with greens fees, carts, and range balls, along with a tournament banner, two tee box signs, and featured placement in all event marketing. A silver sponsorship is $650 and includes one foursome, one tee box sign, and inclusion in event marketing. A bronze sponsorship is $250 and includes one tee box sign and recognition in event marketing.

Individual team registration is $500 for one foursome with greens fees, cart, and range balls. Supporters who cannot attend can still contribute through a direct financial gift, a gift card for the raffle, or an item for the event swag bags.

Payment may be made by credit card or check. Checks should be made payable to FMHS ABC and mailed with a copy of the registration form to the Fort Mill Athletic Booster Club, P.O. Box 2061, Fort Mill, SC 29716.

Registration is available online through the booster club’s tournament form. Questions can be directed to booster club president Lauren Bumgardner at [email protected] or 704.661.9474.
