York, SC – Four York Comprehensive High School students will be continuing their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.
Wednesday, February 11, 2026, students signed national letters of intent during a ceremony in the York Comprehensive High School Media Center surrounded by staff, coaches, teammates and family members.
Congratulations to these standout student athletes who participated in the signing day ceremony:
• Connor Sweatt (Baseball – Coker University)
• Ethan Ranucci (Baseball – Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute)
• Colby Falls (Baseball – Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute)
• Raegan Harvey (Volleyball – Brevard College)

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching. Tom is now an Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida. In 2 short years he has won 10 awards from the South Carolina Press Association, including first place in column writing, education beat reporting and best podcast.
