Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Assistance Identifying Suspect in Walmart Larceny

LANCASTER, S.C. — The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is asking for the community’s help to identify a suspect involved in a shoplifting incident that occurred earlier this week.

According to a Facebook post by the Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place on Monday, January 26, 2026, during the lunch hour, specifically between 12:30 p.m. and 12:50 p.m.

Investigators say the individual pictured in surveillance footage entered a local Walmart and allegedly shoplifted multiple items. The total value of the stolen merchandise is estimated at $782.88. The suspect left the store without attempting to pay for the goods.

Authorities have released an image of the individual and are urging anyone who recognizes them to come forward.
