Fifty four students from York, Lancaster, and Chester counties were named to the Summer 2026 President’s List at Southern New Hampshire University, the Manchester, New Hampshire institution announced Wednesday.
The President’s List is the university’s top undergraduate honor roll. It requires full time status and a grade point average of 3.700 or higher for the reporting term, according to the university. Full time status means 12 credits earned over a term of 16 weeks or over paired terms of eight weeks grouped in fall, winter and spring, or summer. The summer terms ran from May through August.
The announcement comes a day after the university released its Summer 2026 Dean’s List, which recognizes grade point averages between 3.500 and 3.699 and included 13 area students. Together the two lists put 67 local names on SNHU honor rolls for the summer terms.
Rock Hill produced the largest group with 17 students, followed by Fort Mill with 12. Southern New Hampshire University enrolls more than 200,000 learners, the majority of them online, and the format is widely used by working adults in the Charlotte region finishing degrees around job and family schedules.
