Fort Mill road crews are repairing damaged pavement and strengthening road bases at several locations, with drivers urged to watch for lane shifts and partial closures.
Town of Fort Mill crews have started road base repairs and repaving work on several road sections throughout town, according to the Town of Fort Mill.
The work includes removing damaged asphalt, strengthening the road base underneath and repaving the surface to create a smoother, more durable roadway, the town said.
Drivers traveling through work areas may encounter lane shifts or partial road closures. The town asked drivers to use caution, slow down and watch for crews and equipment.
Residents can view an interactive GIS map showing repair locations and individual street views of each planned repaving project on the Town of Fort Mill’s website.
