Rev. Jack E. Howard, of TerraBella Memory Care in Rock Hill South Carolina died Friday, August 7. 2026. Funeral services will be held at Barron Funeral Home on Tuesday August 11 2026 at 11am with Rev David Flanders and Rev Fred Bryant officiating. Burial will be private.
He was born July 9, 1939 in Lancaster SC and was the son of the late Tommy Howard and Maggie Craig. He was a graduate of Lancaster High School through the GED program with Honors. Jack worked for Springs Industries over 20 years and then went on to Holmes Theological Seminary and Graduated in 1977 with honors.
Rev. Jack Howard served as a Church of God pastor over 25 years, serving a number of churches through out South Carolina. He was a member of the Fountain of Life Church of God.
He is survived by his son, Richard and his wife Karen; one granddaughter Lisa Plyler and her husband Richard; one great granddaughter Addison; one sister Connie Sue Clement of Decatur, AL.
In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Joyce Elaine Howard and 2 sisters, Corine Caston and Kathleen Hendrix.

Thomas Hyslip lives in Tega Cay with his wife and daughter. After 27 years in the U.S. Army and Federal Law Enforcement, he retired to pursue his passion for teaching.
