Fort Mill Man Arrested in Monroe, Tied to $1.25 Million Car Theft Ring

Stef Willi Huewe, 56, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, was pulled over by Monroe (NC) Police for speeding earlier this week. During the stop, officers discovered the vehicle Huewe was driving had been reported stolen from Orlando, Florida, back in 2021.

Huewe was immediately taken into custody and charged with multiple offenses, including possession of a stolen motor vehicle, using a fictitious license plate, speeding, and felony chop shop activity.

Investigators soon linked Huewe to All PRO Fleet & Auto Services, a business he owns in Stanly County. Working alongside special agents from the North Carolina License and Theft Bureau and the National Insurance Crime Bureau, Monroe Police obtained a search warrant for the property.

The search turned up seven high-end stolen vehicles, including a Lamborghini Urus, Bentley coupe, Jeep Wrangler, BMW SUV, Dodge Ram dually, and an Alfa Romeo. Authorities estimate the total value of the recovered vehicles at approximately $1.25 million.

Huewe now faces additional charges related to the stolen vehicles found at his business. He was released from custody after posting bond, but the investigation remains active.
