Lancaster, SC – The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is actively recruiting dedicated and motivated individuals to join their team, offering rewarding career opportunities in law enforcement.
The agency is currently seeking applicants for the following positions:
- Deputy Sheriff: Starting salary $56,925
- Correctional Officer: Starting salary $53,648
To be considered for these positions, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- For Deputy Sheriff: Must be 21 years of age or older. For Correctional Officer: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
- For Deputy Sheriff: Must possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license. For Correctional Officer: Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Must have no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions.
- Must have a satisfactory credit history.
- Must have an honorable military discharge (if applicable).
