Lancaster County, S.C. — March 21, 2025
A Lancaster County School District bus was involved in an accident Friday morning off Spirit Road near Rich Hill, according to district officials.
Thirteen students were on board at the time of the incident. Emergency Services responded promptly and transported seven students with minor injuries for medical evaluation. The remaining students were uninjured.
Another school bus was dispatched to the scene to transport the non-injured students to school. Some parents also arrived and took their children home from the site.
District officials have not released additional details about the cause of the accident. The incident remains under investigation.
The school district said it will continue to monitor the students involved and provide updates as necessary.
