The Fort Mill High School’s track and field teams secured victories against Catawba Ridge High School on March 12, 2025. The Fort Mill girls dominated with a score of 148-25, while the boys edged out a narrow win at 87.5 to 85.5. The boys’ meet was decided in the final event, the 4×400-meter relay, where Fort Mill clinched the victory.
Several Fort Mill athletes delivered standout performances to help secure the victories. Mia Williams was a dominant force in the girls’ events, winning the 100 meters (12.47), 200 meters (26.26), long jump (18 feet, 0.5 inches), and triple jump (37 feet, 5.25 inches). Kaylee Rovenstine also had a strong showing, claiming first in both the 800 meters (2:20) and 1,600 meters (5:10). On the boys’ side, Brandon Moore won the 100 meters (11.24), while Hudson Haley took the 1,600 meters (4:30).
