Rock Hill, S.C. – Miracle Park Rock Hill is set to take another major step toward completion with a groundbreaking ceremony at 1 PM on Friday, January 31, 2025. The event, marking the launch of the park’s final construction phases, will feature remarks from South Carolina Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette, Rock Hill Mayor John Gettys, and other local officials.
The community is invited to attend the ceremony, which will take place at 1005 Eden Terrace. Officials will unveil plans for new features aimed at further enhancing the park’s accessibility and inclusivity.
A Community Effort
Miracle Park has been a collaborative project, made possible through the efforts of the York County Disabilities Foundation, the City of Rock Hill, Winthrop University, and MaxAbilities. Since its opening in September 2021, the park has provided a welcoming space for individuals of all abilities, offering inclusive playgrounds, sports fields, and recreational activities.
