The Fort Mill High School boys wrestling team dominated the Region Meet, boasting five individual Region Champions and earning a total of ten podium finishes across weight classes. The Yellow Jackets showcased their strength and determination, solidifying their place as one of the top teams in the region.
Individual Region Champions
Five Fort Mill wrestlers claimed the top spot in their respective weight classes, earning the coveted title of Region Champion:
- 126 lbs: Tucker Gibson
- 138 lbs: Lincoln Greene
- 157 lbs: Broden Mitcheson
- 190 lbs: Ted Ernst
- 285 lbs: Jonathan Da Silva
Second-Place Finishers
Two Yellow Jackets finished as runners-up, putting up strong performances in their weight classes:
- 106 lbs: Brody Harris
- 120 lbs: Jacob Nally
Third-Place Finishers
Three wrestlers added to Fort Mill’s success with third-place finishes:
150 lbs: Keenan Costen
175 lbs: Mason Metcalf
215 lbs: Kristian Villatoro
Special Recognition
In addition to winning his weight class, Lincoln Greene (138 lbs) received a significant honor by being named Region Wrestler of the Year, an award determined by a vote from all region teams. This accolade highlights his outstanding performance and leadership throughout the season.
