Lake Wylie Library Hosts Dinosaur Exploration Event for Kids

Young dinosaur enthusiasts have a unique opportunity to step into the shoes of paleontologists at an engaging educational program hosted by the Lake Wylie Library. The event, set to take place in the library’s meeting room on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., promises hands-on fun and learning for children aged 6 to 11.

Event Highlights

Participants will learn fascinating facts about dinosaurs and discover the science behind fossil formation and excavation. Budding paleontologists will then get a chance to dig for fossilized skull pieces, using their newfound knowledge to identify the type of dinosaur they’ve uncovered.

This interactive program is designed to spark curiosity about prehistoric life and inspire an interest in paleontology among young learners.
