Residents across the region should prepare for a blast of Arctic air this week, with some of the coldest temperatures of the season on the way. Additionally, there’s a chance we could see a few snowflakes between late Tuesday and early Wednesday, though it’s not a certainty. Some areas may be lucky enough to experience flurries or even a light dusting.
The Bitter Cold Moves In
- Tuesday Morning: Temperatures could drop as low as 15°, kicking off a week of frigid mornings.
- Thursday Morning: Expect the coldest temperatures of the week, with lows plunging to around 12°.
- Each morning will feel bitter, so take precautions to stay warm.
Tips to Stay Safe in the Cold
- Protect Pipes: Make sure to insulate exposed pipes to prevent freezing.
- Bring Pets Inside: Keep your furry friends safe from the extreme cold.
- Layer Up: Dress warmly if you need to venture outside, especially during the early morning hours.
While snow is not guaranteed, keep an eye on the skies Tuesday night into Wednesday morning for the possibility of flurries. Bundle up and stay prepared for the Arctic chill!
