LANCASTER, S.C. — The Lancaster Police Department has issued a “Be On the Lookout” (BOLO) alert following a burglary and grand larceny earlier this week. Investigators are asking for the community’s help to recover a distinctive dirt bike stolen from a residence near West Meadow Drive.
According to police reports, the theft occurred on or around January 14, 2026. The stolen vehicle is described as a blue 2008 Yamaha WR250 dirt bike.
Vehicle Description and Distinguishing Features
Police have released specific details to help the public identify the bike, noting that the South Carolina registration plate (ZH28306) may have been removed by the suspects.
Residents are urged to look for the following unique modifications:

Mirrors: The bike has a noticeably larger mirror on the right side.

Decals: An “FMF” sticker is visible on the exhaust pipe, and there is a yellow sticker on the front of the bike.
Investigators suspect the bike may have been transported away from the scene inside a trailer.
