An early morning armed robbery suspect connected to a Fort Mill restaurant is now in custody. Authorities arrested DeQuinton Davion Walker, 24, of Rock Hill, at his home on Thursday, December 11, following warrants issued by the Rock Hill Police Department according to a press release from the York County Sherriff’s Office.
The arrest stems from an investigation into an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday, December 4, at the Burger King located at 3400 Highway 21 in Fort Mill, SC.
According to detectives, Walker is accused of entering the restaurant and spraying the interior surveillance cameras before demanding that the manager open the safe. The suspect subsequently fled the Burger King with approximately $200.
Walker is currently being held without bond at the York County Detention Center. The case remains under active investigation.
