LANCASTER, S.C. — A Lancaster man was arrested last week and faces a range of charges, including tattooing a minor and multiple drug offenses, following an investigation that began in early October.
According to a report by WSOC-TV, 39-year-old Dusty Lewis Faile was taken into custody after the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at his home on Camp Creek Road. The investigation stemmed from a report that Mr. Faile had provided marijuana and given a tattoo to a 15-year-old girl at his residence.
The sheriff’s office stated that the initial allegations were corroborated by the investigation and evidence found during the search. The search warrant, served by the Special Victims’ Unit, Narcotics Task Force, and other agencies including SLED and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), led to the discovery of illegal materials.
Authorities seized professional tattooing equipment, including a tattoo gun, needles, and accessories. They also found 4.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 5.7 grams of suspected marijuana, and digital scales.
Faile was subsequently charged with:
-
Assault and battery first degree
-
Tattooing a person under 18 years of age
-
Contributing to the delinquency of a minor
-
Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
-
Possession with intent to distribute marijuana
His total bond was set at $100,000, which he posted shortly after his arrest, leading to his release later that same day.
Sheriff Barry Faile, in a statement to WSOC-TV, emphasized the seriousness with which the department handles offenses against minors, particularly those involving adult men and young females.
