The York One Board of Trustees is currently looking to fill a vacant seat (Seat 3). The position will be filled by Board appointment and will include an interview process by the YSD1 Board of Trustees.
Individuals interested in filling for the remainder of the four-year term, which ends November 2028, should complete the application below. To be eligible to apply for the vacant seat, applicants must currently live in the York School District and within the Seat 3 attendance area and meet all other eligibility guidelines set by the York County Election Commission.
The projected timeline is:
- July 18, 2025 – Seat 3 Vacancy Posted
- August 4, 2025 – Seat 3 Applications Due
- August 12, 2025 – Interviews Begin in Executive Session
- September 9, 2025 – Approval of New Board Member
