INDIAN LAND, SC – Mr. Jesse Clements Lodge, Jr, age 75, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was born August 9, 1949, in Sanford, FL to the late Jesse C. Lodge, Sr. and Connie Kirby Lodge. Mr. Lodge was a devoted husband, a good father, and loving grandfather who had a deep affection for all of his family. He spent over 40 years working in the Sporting Goods Industry helping to make sure student athletes had the appropriate equipment and uniforms.
In retirement, Mr. Lodge became a part-time realtor and Uber driver which coincided with his ability to relate to everyone he ever came into contact with. Mr. Lodge also had a lifelong love of all sports including a special place in his heart for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks and Carolina Panthers. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf with friends and driving his boat on Lake Marion with both family and friends. However, above all, he loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren who he absolutely adored and made a priority in his retirement.
Mr. Lodge is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Frances Farmer Lodge; his son, Jesse “Jay” C. Lodge, III and his wife, Tina, of Matthews, NC; two grandchildren, Carter Lodge, and Madeline Lodge; and two sisters, Becky Smith, and Tina Thomas.
Mr. Lodge was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Arthur Lodge; and two sisters, Drue Scherrer, and Tammy Ward.

His legacy of kindness, humor, and deep compassion will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
