Teresa Sandra Pate Wilkins, age 65, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025. She was born October 14, 1959, in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late Cleatus Pate, Jr. and the late Brenda Leigh Owens Pate. Sandra enjoyed traveling, going to the beach and concerts, baking, and loved Christmas. Her children and grandchildren were her world, and she loved all of her family dearly.

Sandra is survived by her son, Matthew Wilkins (Jessica); daughter, Courtney Chisolm; grandchildren, Jaylynn Wilkins, Harley Wilkins, Matthew Wilkins, Jr., Ethan Wilkins, Na’Quavion Baxter, and Avah Beckham; brothers, Michael Pate (Vickie) and Tripp Pate; sisters, Vicky Cason and Cathy Logan (Sandy); nieces and nephews, Kristen Cason, Kaitlin Hinson (Brandon), Morgan Horton (Braydon), Samuel Logan, and Michael Leigh Pate; great nieces and nephew, Willow Hinson, Salem Hinson, and Ziva Horton; and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleatus and Brenda Pate.

The Celebration of Life Service for Sandra will be 3:00 pm Thursday, February 20, 2025, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Jessie Adams

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home.
