Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Winthrop men’s golf wrapped up play at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate Tuesday afternoon as the team posted its lowest round of the event at 2-under.

• Thomas Lamar was the top finisher for the Eagles at T19 after a final round of 1-under
• It is the second Top 20 finish of Lamar’s collegiate career
• Andrew Gregory was one shot behind Lamar and finished T26
• It is the 7^th Top 30 finish of Gregory’s collegiate career
• Lamar along with Mac Buckley and Cole Rouse all posted the team’s low round at 1-under to help the team to its lowest round of the event (-2)
• The 71 for Buckley is his first collegiate round under par
• The Eagles finished the event tied for 9^th best in Par 4 scoring and tied for the 4^th most birdies in the field
• Lamar led the Eagles in Par 3 scoring (-1) while Gregory led in Par 4 scoring (+1)
• Rouse and Lamar led the team in Par 5 scoring at 4-under
