Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Andrew Gregory sits T20 to lead the Winthrop men’s golf team as it wrapped up the second round of the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate, Tuesday afternoon.

• Andrew Gregory posted a team-low 1-over 73 in the second round and is T20
• Thomas Lamar was one shot behind in the round and sits T26
• Mason Kucia and Mac Buckley each posted a second round 75 as Kucia is T73 and Buckley is T77
• The course played over a stroke and a half tougher in the second round moving from a 72.07 first round average to 73.79 in the second
• Winthrop ranks 9^th among the field in Par 4 scoring
• Gregory and Lamar lead the team in Par 3 scoring at even par while Gregory leads the team and is tied for 8^th among the field in Par 4 scoring (-2)
• Lamar is also leading the Eagles in Par 5 scoring (-2)

The teams are back on the course Tuesday morning for the final round beginning at 8 a.m. on the 1^st and 10^th tee. Winthrop will begin teeing off at 8:45 a.m. off the 10^th tee.
