Humane Society of York County – Pets of the Week

Cat of the Week:

  • This beauty is Sweet Potato!
  • She came into the HSYC as a stray! We estimate her to be almost 4 months old.

o  She’s just a baby.

  • She’s is fairly new to the rescue!
  • You can find this sweet girl in the Lounge.
  • She came in with her sister and they are both quite playful in the Lounge.
  • Sweet Potato is a lover but wants to play by her timing & rules … a true calico.
  • She is spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped and tested. Ready to meet YOU!
  • Don’t let this sweet girl wait another minute. Call TODAY to make an appointment, 803-802-0902!
  • Our adoption requirements and process can be found on our website at www.thehsyc.

Dog of the Week:

  • This cutie patootie is Crayton.
  • Crayton came to the HSYC as an owner surrender due to illness. He is still adjusting.
  • We estimate Crayton to be a Schnauzer mix at about 4 years old.
  • He really doesn’t know why he’s at the rescue and a little miff’d at the loss of his life & security.

o  He is starting to relax but we are confident that will fully come when he’s in a stable loving home.

  • He is neutered, vaccinated, tested and micro chipped.
  • Crayton does ok with small dogs on an individual basis.

o  He’s still questioning his environment which is completely understandable.

  • If this cutie’s story grabs your attention, please give us a call TODAY to talk more about Crayton @ 803-802-0902.
  • Our Adoption parameters can be found on our website www.humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org.
