FORT MILL, S.C. — State Representative Jackie Terribile has officially filed for re-election to continue representing House District 66, pledging to build on her record of fighting for taxpayers, parents, and public safety in Columbia.
A Fort Mill resident and former member of the South Carolina State Board of Education, Terribile was first elected in 2024 and has quickly emerged as a principled, results-driven voice for York County. In her first term, she has focused on strengthening parental rights, supporting law enforcement, improving infrastructure, and holding state government accountable to the people it serves.
“I ran for office as a mom who believed our communities needed a stronger voice in Columbia—and that’s exactly what I’ve worked to deliver,” Terribile said. “It has been an honor to serve the families of District 66, and I’m proud of the work we’ve done to stand up for parents, back the men and women in uniform, and protect hardworking taxpayers.”
During her first term, Terribile has taken on some of the most pressing issues facing the region and the state. She has advocated for greater transparency in government and healthcare policy, pushed for responsible, conservative budgeting, and worked closely with local leaders and families to address ongoing concerns surrounding the Silfab facility in Fort Mill.
With firsthand experience in education policy from her time on the State Board of Education, Terribile has been a leading voice for empowering parents and restoring local control in schools. She has consistently supported policies that prioritize students over bureaucracy and ensure decisions are made closest to the families they impact.
“I believe representation means more than just casting votes—it means explaining those votes, listening to your constituents, and having the courage to stand on principle,” Terribile added. “There is more work to do, and I’m ready to keep fighting for the people of District 66.”
Terribile’s re-election campaign will emphasize protecting taxpayer dollars, defending parental rights, strengthening public safety, and ensuring state government remains focused on its core responsibilities.
The Republican primary election will be held June 9, 2026.
