Dr. Elizabeth Enns Files for South Carolina House District 26, Launches Grassroots Campaign for Families and Freedom

FORT MILL, SC – Conservative Republican Dr. Elizabeth Enns officially filed her candidacy for the South Carolina House of Representatives in District 26, launching a grassroots campaign focused on defending families, protecting freedoms, and ensuring the Fort Mill community has a strong voice in Columbia.

A pastor, educator, wife, and mother, Dr. Enns has spent nearly two decades serving the Fort Mill community. She and her husband Jesse co-founded Antioch International Church, where they have worked to strengthen families and build community. Dr. Enns is also a former classroom teacher and the founder of Patriotic Students of America and She Leads Carolinas, organizations dedicated to civic engagement, constitutional education, and leadership development.

Dr. Enns said her campaign will focus on the kitchen-table issues that matter most to families across District 26, including lowering taxes, strengthening education, protecting parental rights, and ensuring the community has a voice in major decisions that impact its future.

“As our community grows, the people who live here deserve a real voice in the decisions that affect our families, our property, and our quality of life,” said Dr. Enns. “Families in District 26 deserve a defender of freedom who puts our community, our wallets, and our values first—not special interests or career politicians.”

Dr. Enns has also been an outspoken supporter of the grassroots movement to move the Silfab solar manufacturing facility, standing with residents who believe the project raises serious concerns about putting children at risk, transparency, and the long-term impact on the area.

Her platform includes aggressive tax and spending reform to shrink government and put more money back into family budgets, common-sense education policies that support teachers and students while protecting parental rights, safeguarding girls’ private spaces, and ensuring state resources are directed toward improving roads, infrastructure, and local priorities throughout the district.

Dr. Enns said the campaign is already building strong grassroots momentum across District 26.

“This campaign is powered by the people of Fort Mill,” Enns said. “Neighbors talking to neighbors. Parents standing up for their kids. Families working together to protect the future of
our community. I’m proud to stand with them as a fighter for Fort Mill and a voice for families in Columbia.”

Unlike many political campaigns, Dr. Enns emphasized that her campaign is funded primarily by individual supporters and small-dollar contributions, not dark money from big industry or special-interest groups.
