York County Gears Up for Festive St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations

YORK COUNTY, S.C. – Residents across York County are set to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a variety of free, family-friendly events filled with music, food, and entertainment. From Tega Cay and Fort Mill to Clover and Rock Hill, local communities are hosting exciting festivities for all ages.

Tega Cay’s Model A Brewing will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on both March 16th and 17th. Saturday features live music from Cam Heigler and the highly anticipated unveiling of their new Irish Red Ale. The festivities continue Sunday with green beer, a special Irish-inspired menu, and the return of Scott the bagpiper, bringing traditional tunes to the celebration.

Fort Mill will bring back its popular Main Street Shamrock Jam, featuring a DJ, green beer, a leprechaun costume contest, and activities for kids. The town will also hold its annual Spring Fling & St. Patrick’s Day Parade, boasting over 100 vendors and live entertainment.

In Rock Hill, the Old Town St. Patrick’s Day on Main Street Festival will offer live entertainment, a variety of food trucks, and plenty of beer for attendees. A designated play zone will provide games and activities for children.

Clover will host a two-day St. Patrick’s Day Festival, kicking off on Friday with live music, street food, and a beer garden. The celebration continues Saturday with a downtown 5K run, a dog show, and more live performances.

Several businesses in York will also join in the festivities, offering traditional Irish meals, green-themed attire for people and pets, and festive promotions.
