From Cold Brew Cart to Café
Owner Brian Bourgal’s story is one of entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability. What began in 2020 as a simple cold brew operation, served from a self-built cart, quickly blossomed into a local phenomenon. “We started with just Cold Brew, and I was serving from a cart I built myself,” Bourgal recalls. “During the pandemic, I started doing home deliveries of bottled coffee, and it just grew from there.”
That growth saw Bourgal navigating the challenges of shifting business models, upgrading from the cart to increasingly larger trailers. For three years, a prominent trailer parked at the Keller Williams market center became a familiar sight, serving as a mobile hub for Tega Cay’s caffeine needs. But Bourgal had bigger dreams.
“We sold everything and moved into the shop in May 2024,” he explains. This wasn’t just a relocation; it was a transformation. The new brick-and-mortar location allowed Bourgal to expand the kitchen, refine the coffee process, and significantly broaden the menu, solidifying its place as a community staple.
